VinSnap AI, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that makes VinSnap: Vehicle Passport, an app for keeping a car's lifetime record in one place. Each service becomes a “stamp” labelled by how it is backed: Receipt-backed, Workshop-verified or Owner-reported. The passport also holds the mileage timeline, open and fixed recalls where official data exists, and what's due next. When the car is sold, the owner can share the passport with a buyer as a private link and revoke it at any time. VinSnap also decodes VINs and finds parts by VIN. Workshops use VinSnap Business to run jobs and stamp passports.

VinSnap AI, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that makes VinSnap: Vehicle Passport, an app that gives every car a lifetime record kept in one place and carried from owner to owner. Its tagline is “Every car deserves a passport.”

Most cars still keep their history in a paper service book, a glovebox of receipts and the owner's memory. When the car is sold, much of that record is lost. VinSnap replaces that with a digital passport. Each oil change, brake job, tyre change or repair becomes a “stamp” with its date and mileage, and each stamp says how it is backed: Receipt-backed (the receipt was scanned in VinSnap), Workshop-verified (a workshop using VinSnap Business recorded the job and the owner accepted it) or Owner-reported (typed in by the owner and not checked by VinSnap).

The passport also shows the car's mileage timeline, with a flag when a reading is lower than an earlier one; open and fixed recalls where official recall data is available, such as NHTSA data for US vehicles; and the maintenance that is due next. When the owner sells the car, they can share the passport with a buyer as one private link. The owner chooses whether the shared page shows the full VIN and the car's factory specifications, and can revoke the link at any time. A VinSnap Vehicle Passport is a private record kept by the owner; it is not a government document or vehicle registration.

VinSnap also decodes VINs, finds parts that fit by VIN and cross-references part numbers. For repair shops, VinSnap Business is workshop management software for registered businesses: jobs, customers, invoices and a shop-floor terminal for technicians, with completed work stamped into the customer's passport.

VinSnap is available on the web at vinsnap.net and as an iPhone app. Starting a passport is free.
