The fastener in the rear seat belt anchor attachment points may not have been tightened properly and can loosen over time. | Dealers will inspect and tighten the rear seat belt anchor bolts. Additionally, dealers will apply warning labels to the seat belt attachment points to indicate the bolt size and torque value required for any future seat belt repair. Increased temperatures can break down the engine oil, which may cause the engine bearings to seize and become damaged, leading to engine failure. | Dealers will reprogram the engine control module (ECM) software, inspect for diagnostic trouble codes, and test drive the vehicle, free of charge. The dealer may also inspect the oil pan for metal debris, and replace the engine if necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 8, 2026.
